color chat for this project I explored how a chat could happen without words, usernames, or any of the typical things used for an online chat would be. I wrote the code so when you arrive on the website, you're welcomed on a page which randomly goes through every RGB color on refresh which says 'Press any key to begin.' when you do press a random key, the color shifts to a random color. each key uses the same RGB randomization, so there is no way to create a pattern purposefully. as more people join, they are represented as their own 'line' in the gradient scale, which means the more people, the more lines, which also means more colors shifting in real time. the page has a live refresh, so as everyone is pressing their keys on the keyboard, the page constantly shows the interaction of people on the website. it is a way which shows someone is there, on the other end of the screen, interacting with the same space at the same time. an interaction on the website allows the users to have a space of human interaction via the web.
